We will be constructing 3 bridges. 2 log (with planking) and 1 barrel (with planking). We will need every able bodied person we can muster to help. We will be cutting down trees, limbing, dragging and positioning them. We'll be cutting wood, planking the logs and anchoring them. We'll also be framing the barrel bridge, decking it, and testing it. :-) With a lot of help and a little luck, we should be able to get it done in one weekend. Saturday was very wet and only one research flight was made in the afternoon. Thank you Syracuse folks for coming. The launch on Sunday Sept 7. was well attended and was also blessed by a little liquid sunshine. Lots of rockets went up and they all came down! Some in pieces and some are playing hide and seek. New officers were elected after the picnic and I will do the best that I can in the position of president. Mike Dutch was instrumental in the set up, running of and clean up for this launch. Thank you Mike and I am looking forward to learning how easy you make this look. Many thanks to those who stayed to the end and helped to pack up the PYRO trailer for winter storage.
