PYRO.WS Muck Fest 2010!

Join PYRO as we host the inaugural
Muck Fest 2010!
This event will be held at our field located at
Torry 'Muck' Farms of Potter, NY
on
July 3,4 & 5, 2010

Cost for the event is $10/day or $25/3 days for fliers. Spectators are always free.

Monday July 5th is a TRA Research day. You must be a TRA member to fly.

Range hours are from 9am - 6pm daily weather permitting. The LD reserves the right to call the launch at any time for inclement weather, However, just because it may be raining where you are, it may not be raining at the range. So come out and fly!

As always, we have a standard waiver of 15,000' AGL with a provision for call-in windows up to 23,500' MSL. These windows will be at the discretion of the LD and RSO and then coordinated with the necessary air traffic authorities. Advance notice is required. You may submit your flight information using the BFR Form on this site (Free User account required)

PYRO.WS 2010 Waiver

Fly up to 23,500' MSL!!!!

The FAA has approved our request for a standard waiver of 15,000' AGL with a provision for call-in windows up to 23,500' MSL. Welcome to PYRO - Potter Youth Rocketry Organization. PYRO is a group of individuals that like to fly low to high power hobby rockets. Members enjoy free flight registration for all PYRO launches. Everyone is welcome to fly or just bring a chair and watch. We have members as young as 2 years old, and as old as, well, you get the picture. You never know what will fly at the Potter site. PYRO also
reaches out to the community to assist Boy Scout, Girl Scout, 4H, and youth group launches on a regular basis. At every launch there is an assortment of low altitude, low power flights. Sometimes high power flights to 23,000 feet in altitude on site.We invite you to come out and see us at any of our
launches and stop in our online store to get geared up for the trip to Potter. See you there.
